I can personally attest to the quality and difficulty given to the judges - 😏😐🤫🤐🥴🙄

We , as a forum , CLEARLY, have some awesome authors that are very  knowledgeable! and are very good at the presentation side too! 👍

I REALLY ENJOYED having to read through ALL the wonderful entries and was at a very  "AWKWARD" odds as to how my votes would go! - (nice headache to have - thanks Guys and Gals)

As @ChrisSilver has said - there was some very close points - SO WELL DONE EVERYONE! 👌

I PERSONALLY THANK ALL ENTRANTS FOR THEIR EFFORTS !

I would also congratulate all those who took the time out who enterered! As the actress said to the bishop its not the size of the Church its the size of the congregation! Well done all!

I frankly have the IQ of a boiled potato - so wouldnt have the intellect nor patience to write such splendorous essays about the good old shiny stuff..... 

Good show all! and some really good informative reads! Let me know if there are future writing competitions - but I will only enter if its my specialist subject - which is writing absolute drivel 🤪

I have to say I was blown away by many entries, far more than the 3 who 'won' - it must have been an incredibly close result!

Well done all and I hope some of these threads will be revisited and turn into longer discussions, because there were so many great entries that raised many talking points which have yet to be carried forward.

For future competitions could the top three post reactions be taken into account and given points? along side the judges points

If we consider the popular forum vote was post reactions, only one of the top three Pete with a huge 37  managed a winning spot and that was last with third

In my former career as a young Bullyun.

My boss came in and said 'heres your end of year appraisal

And Im pleased to say youve really grown this year!'

Thank you, it has been a true pleasure reading and learning with you!!

Oh man, this is so cool. I've never won a competition before. Thank you Chris and the team! 

My laptop screen's on the fritz so I can't tag people cause I can barely see what I'm writing at the moment. Congrats to all who took part, there were some fantastic entries and some real competition. I can now sleep off the night shift a happy man.
