All time highs for gold continue as a recession could be coming. A further £12 per Oz increase. I honestly wouldn't buy at these prices, will probably sell all coins under 10% premium at spot to a dealer.

Here's Atkinsons buy prices:

Of note at time of writing:

QB's Lion: £1339 & Griffin £1326 & Mixed Designs (the remainder): £1275

= +0.04% for your 5 QB's

Going to reprice some of the bullion coins to spot after some advice. They have now been updated, most coins are at spot, the premium coins such as the queens beast have been dropped by over 10% per coin. I will swallow the premium in return for the higher spot prices. This has reduced the final sale price of all coins by over £3000, i do not think i will be changing the premiums much more than this unless there is a bulk buy.

I have also managed to secure some annual leave starting tomorrow after work. This means i will start to price up the silver. On these pieces however i cannot adjust the premiums much as spot hasn't changed much for these and nor has the massive amounts of premium paid for silver.

Hope this helps.

Can I ask why you are selling your sovereigns for £315? Currently they’re 41.022 (spot price per gram) x 7.32240 (grams of gold in a Sov) = £300 give or take a few pence.

Really? £300 at the dealers?

No, that’s just the spot price. But other coins on this sale are at spot, well below what you would pay at a dealer. So just asking why the sovs have a premium over spot when other bullion coins don’t.

Hmm, you make a good point. I will match the dealers, the reason for this mainly was because I understand not many can afford a full ounce gold coin, so to entice the buyers, I am selling well below dealer price. However the quarter ounces and sovs are within most peoples budget and so I would like to make some money on it. I recall dealers like HGM selling @2% premium but that was for their trash looking sovs, as mine are new and capsulated at purchase, i will do 3% :)

You better buy one @Safestacker :p

There you are-  @RisinSun has a rationale for his pricing- I think the pricing is reasonable.

Sorry if I’m staying the obvious- but usually coins fractional to the one ounce weight command a higher premium- and specific year dates more so but conversely, larger coins in demand or with numismatic merit can attract higher premiums.

Guys I honestly appreciate the feedback, this is the first time for me selling privately and I want to be just and honorable. What better way than to take advice from experienced sellers. I have amended the prices of the sovs, now @ 309 each at today's spot. Thank you @richatthecroft @Safestacker

hello,

how many and which QB 1oz are left?

also I noticed a silver bar, how many cast bar you have?

thanks

I have not priced any silver yet, Have been making regular trips to the post office and meeting buyers face to face, I promise at some point this week to get on it. I only have one 1Kilo silver bar. I have 2 5Oz Prey bars but someone has dibbed them for when i price it up.

As for the gold QBs I have:
1 oz QB Lion + 1/4 (although someone is making an offer now so this one has to be paused)
1 oz QB Griffon + 1/4
1 oz QB Unicorn
1 oz QB Red Dragon

On another note - 2016 Sov SOLD

Note 2- I regularly update my first post and i put a line through all the sold items, please check there in future :)
