1/ @danmc82 - a stick close but too generic

2/ @daca - some kind of maasai warrior club (weapon) or a flaute

3/ @ittle5huggy - it's a Rungu or throwing stick a bit like the knobkerry ? - BANK on Bro - but too late behind @daca

Rules STATED - - the nearest "Guess" as to what I imported from Kenya ?

The reason I had to pay import duties - -

Its "EBONY" - as such is restricted / Taxed

but Note the Rarity in that Both white and Black ebony in same Piece! WOW !

And NO -before any one asks its NOT laminated! - - it is rare and (apparently) the Masai are skilled at knowing how to find this anomaly in a tree!

A lovely piece @5huggy

Functional too. I thought I'd be close but hey, no cigar 😀

I bought a a couple of 'sticks' too when I was on my travels:

Also functional:

The Maasai machete is a favourite of mine:

...my wife refused to let me hang it on the wall so I keep it in the umbrella stand. Near the front door.

Shock and awe tactics, naturally. 😇

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

Naturally! 😉@Roy

Those are nice pieces too! 😍 👍

The reason I got mine was that I was fascinated by the white and black ebony in the same piece of wood.

The "balance" of this piece in your hand, absolutely lends itself to "wielding" - the point on the ball end would be almighty pressure on impact!
