Been stacking gold since the day I was born, not joking, in western countries silver is the traditional gift for new borns, in Asia it's gold, I was born in Asia, so I was given gold by my ''relatives'' - poeple like my god parents and friends of my parents who I consider family and am actually closer to than all but one or two people I'm related to by blood. I've been buying gold since I got my first pay check to add to my stack - I was born in Asia and spent my childhood there so I'm what the Chinese call an ''egg'' I may be white on the outside, but inside I'm yellow so I've subconsciously picked up a lot of Chinese habits and customs, my parents even taught me to read with a translation of the old Chinese classical novel '' Journey to the West''.  What I buy varies depending on where I'm based, in Asia I was buying mainly bars and krugerrands, in America I was mainly buying American gold eagles and gold maple leaves, in Australia it was a mixture of bars and ''gold nuggets'', and in the U.K it's gold Britannias - I'm actually trying to comlete the date set 1987-2020 just because I have all the dates in silver, and I'm currently thinking about doing the same with krugerrands.

As for silver, I only got into it by chance last year, though ounce for ounce, I own more silver than I do gold.
