A little bit of luck (or should I say Duck) with my coffee

Recommended Posts

I went round to the independent coffee shop by my work,  which normally give me a special price of £1.90 for a latte but decided as the server was new, I’d just go with the full price of £2.50. I handed her £3 and she gave me 50p change. It was only Jemima Puddleduck!! I’d almost given up hope of ever getting one. It’s got me back into it again now so thank you coffee girl 😃

Wow! That is such a great bit of luck. I do think about all the coins that passed my hands before I started collecting recently. I used to do lots of charity stalls and had to count up hundreds of coins from 2013 to 2017; imagine what I came across.

Gotta always keep an eye out. I went to a carp boot sale a few months back and came home empty handed apart from the Jeremy Fisher 50p I found on the floor lol
