Before you start making comments like 'price checker' or 'do your own research', I'd like to state that I always do my own research, but I also understand the power of collective effort. No one is forced to participate. Furthermore, this is a forum, sharing knowledge and research should be encouraged.

The intention of this thread is to provide people who are interested in either buying these coins or looking to get a better understanding of it's current value/premium, to take profit of our collective efforts.

A few 'rules' to make it easier on everyone:

* Due too changing spot prices, please do not only post the price and name of the dealer, but please always add the link.

* Make sure the product is in stock.

* Add the number in stock, if it can be deducted (mentioned or by adding max amount into basket).

* Mention the country of the dealer. US based dealers, might not be very useful for EU buyers/sellers and vice versa.

* Mention the amount in the currency of the dealer. Some offer several currencies.

Result of my research so far:

Zittergie's (Belgium) - €20,30 - 18 in stock

https://www.zittergies.be/product/australia-dragon-bar-2018-1oz-silver/

Münzdachs (Germany) - €23,95 - 5 in stock

https://www.muenzdachs.de/epages/63784639.sf/de_DE/?ObjectID=102098595

APMEX (USA) - $27,50 - 170 in stock

As you only want (and from your notes and previous threads it's VERY important) those that are in stock now, it is only useful for people buying and selling right now as opposed to a collective ongoing resource. Which, as per your previous threads, appears to be you.

The first time people obliged, as this is the third time now i think people will be less generous with crowd sourcing your best way of making money slightly undercutting your opposition.

I may be wrong! I'm sure a few will post now just to prove me wrong, you're welcome 😁

Here we go again. Every time there are those who feel the need to go off topic, because they do not agree with someone's post. If you don't agree with someone's approach, there is always the option to ignore it. You don't have to keep pushing your opinions in these posts, continuously taking it off topic. This is a forum, so there is free speech, but not going off topic is an unwritten forum rule of courtesy.

I'm only responding, because you make incorrect assumptions, again.

1. I ask only for those in stock, because many dealers don't update their prices once out of stock, and those give an incorrect image of the correct prices. Hence, your assumption is incorrect. I have stated this in my previous posts, which you seem to know about, but don't care to read carefully before confronting me about them.

2. Having the links keeps the resource updated, at least for these dealers. There's always the option to add more dealers, once the get them in stock again.

3. I don't have a sales topic open, nor will I post one for these coins. I have stated elsewhere that I will not sell them before the 2020 release. Your statement about undercutting, is also false.

4. I have seen people on this forum looking for them to either complete a tube or buy a full tube. I consider this post valuable for them. And owning a tube myself, it is also valuable to me, to satisfy my curiosity about current premium. This curiosity has resulted in doing some research, which I am happy to share here. People are free to contribute if they like.

If what you say is true (and yes, i highly doubt it is), you would need to check every link daily to ensure they are still in stock and then remove those that arent so as to not have the prices from those out of stock giving a false value, as you talk of.

I take it you will do this and add it as a requirement?

You'll should also be ok with out of stock ones so that when they do come in stock, they can be seen and compared. You could add an "out of /in stock" text next to every link to be helpful. The fact you are excluding currently out of stock links shows you just want to know whats available now for selling opportunities. Other people will be happy for the links and choose to ignore their prices for any that are, at the time, out of stock and use them when they are in stock if... as you say...... this is for an ongoing resource which it clearly is not.

Your previous thread was literally born out of you not getting sales from a sales thread and wanting us to check, you then got shirty with people about not meeting your specific requirements.

You say you arent selling but want to know the premium even though it will change once 2020s come out which is when you'll consider selling them.... right.

By all means do it, noone can/will stop you, but do expect a reaction when you try to cover up your intentions.

Edit - in my humble opinion (seems to get most people out of any issues over having very strong views!)

I never pretended this needed to be an continuously updated resource. It's a resource for those that want to buy now and for others, like myself, a snapshot of the current situation. The ongoing resource was your comment. I merely stated, having the links, will prolong the validity of the information. Your entire above response is based on something you stated, not by me.

My previous thread was not 'born out of not selling'. Again you are making a false statement. My sales topic and price challenge topic were a new approach, which were launched together. I addressed the topic of what you call being 'shirty' in that specific thread. I will not be repeating it here.

Yes, I'm interested in knowing current premiums, even if I have no intention of selling at this time. I like to keep track of my investments.

I have not intention of stopping with my approach. I was not looking for your permission. Thanks for giving it though. You may think you are clairvoyant and thus think you know what my intentions are. You might want to wait and see though if what you think also materializes before calling people out on it.

No one is interested in this thread and it's causing friction.

Wow, so you actually think you can speak for the entire forum community. The arrogance.

What is your suggestion then? Censorship?

If no one is interested, then this post will quickly drop down from the first page. By continuing these off topic discussions, you are actually keeping it on top.

Good luck Steven. I look forwards to seeing your 2018 dragons for sale. I hope you get a good price based someone elses input. You deserve it buddy.

Thanks, appreciate it. You won't see them before the 2020 release though. And I have no intention selling them at the price point of Zittergie's, which I myself have mentioned in my initial post. Hopefully other forum members can benefit from my research and get what they need at such a low price point. Take care.

@StevenDS thaks for a link.

appreciate it,

  • people stop being salty to each other.
  • market determines the price. If they are not available at the moment then it means nothing to the buyer in the present.
  • we can ask as much as we want but, again the market will tell us where the price is.
  • also it is super easy to program bot to check prices.
  • we should all be helpful to each other.

cheers silver dorks

Just bought three of them at GSBE for € 21,36 each.

Don't know about how much they got in stock

They were out of stock earlier. I guess they bought back one full tube, because they now have 17 coins in stock of the 2018 silver rectangle dragon.

For me this one will never skyrocket like some coins did in the past. It will always sell for the original issue price.

In Belgium you have low pricing with the 17 coins at goldsilver.be and 18 coins at zittergies, but try finding them elsewhere for that price point.

They are already carrying a nice premium over the original premium at issue. They will never reach China Panda premiums, but I'm confident continued nice yearly designs will still increase premium on the first editions.

Zittergie's still has 17 in stock, selling for €20.30 excl shipping. (€16.50 international shipping cost)

@Spanishsilver has a sales topic selling at £18.50 incl shipping. One full tube of 20 and one with 15, if I'm not mistaken.

These seem to be the best deals out there for these coins.

UPDATE: Zittergie's increased their price with only 16 left in stock.

I'm expecting the 2020 design to be released in February. This might push the price of the 2018 (first of the series) up to €25. Not too bad for a low premium coin on release with limited mintage of 500K. Don't forget the 2019 only has 250K mintage, there might be so more upside potential there.
