Burlap Toning on Morgans

It's curious to me that you find burlap toning attractive. ok when a coin is rainbow toned as your $1550 example is, it is purely a matter of personal preference. i find then too gaudy.

However, in the example given above, the overall toning of the coin is quite nice, except for the feature you seem to find the most definitive and attractive; the bit in front of the nose. I think it actually spoils the visual appearance of the coin and would consider it a fault.

As for the square stain on the reverse; I think it's awful.

i appreciate we all have likes and dislikes and I'm not saying your preferences are in any inferior to mine, but you have posted this on a discussion forum and we are all entitled to out views.😊
