Hello,

I long time looking first time posting!

My name is Matt , live in London and have acquired a selection of silver and gold over the years.

My first baby will be due soon so I am planning to sell some of it to pay for the family expenses 🙂

This is a great forum with great  members,  keep it up!

and as it happens I have a question..

I am based in UK but cannot post on the UK marketplace to sell  what am I missing?

Can't you? You should be able to, there's no forum restrictions on being able to sell?

if I go on the menu create and click on Topic 

select forum

I can select any forum where to create a new topic except Buy, Sell & trade UK and Europe.

that is the only one that us greyed out...

How weird...

Huh that's odd. Admittedly I've never done it that way, I always navigate to the sub-forum I'm interested in then click on "start new topic"

Basically you should be able to post but it seems that there's something Amis in the code somewhere?

@ChrisSIlver just flagging this as potential bug.

Welcome The Silver Forum. New members are unable to post immediately in the for sales section, this is to stop spam in these areas.

Upgrading to premium membership will allow you to post for sale items immediately, alternatively you will notice that after a few posts on the forum your member group is automatically upgraded from ‘new member’ to ‘member’

weird enough there  isn't a create new topic on the sub-forum either....

Please see my post above  also, you should notice that you have now made enough posts and your account is now a ‘member’ account rather than ‘new member’ so you can post in those sections freely.
