Hi All - I amass Silver Bullion Bars UK newbie

Hi all thought I would introduce myself as im new to here.

I am Matt and I have been a collector of silver bullion bars for a number of years

My ethos is that real currency is in the form of physical precious metals as you can't just fashion out of thin air - as you can paper money.

As a UK investor is does suck having to pay VAT on silver and there are grey areas surrounding the levy of VAT post used items.

My methods to buying are from like minded individuals who have amassed silver and offer them a percentage over spot, that way they are getting a good deal and I can buy on a second hand market.

All of my purchases of silver have certified documents but I wouldn't begrudge paying for bullion that is battered or bruised as 'it is what it is' regardless of the condition.
