Enede up committing to 3 1oz & 1 2oz but thats fine as long as silver does not go to £500 an ounce. ;)

If you were thinking about it then I'd phone them to find out what sort of condition it's in. There were issues with the packaging and the coins when released.

I've already pulled the trigger. I'm thinking that now I have the Tudor beasts on order in 1oz silver, it would be good to have this set of the queen's beasts that I missed. I will call in the morning though to check it out. Thanks for the advice.

Is that over 900% premium??

(not taking proof or limited edition into the mix)

It's expensive I know. But to I won't be able to get the full 1oz proof set now.

Looks a lovely set and nice investment like you say. Premiums on this sort of stuff seem crazy.... still looking at grabbing the odd 2oz beasts but determined not to blow my budget. (Which is easier said than done)

I know exactly what you mean. I was going to be a shrewd investor but it turns out there's a collector side of me as well lol. If I never went for this set then I think I'd of had it in me to collect them anyway at a higher price individually. These 1/4 silvers are being sold on eBay at £100 each!

10oz Tombstone on Atkinsons for 242.

Gone, man I'd love one of those for the collection
