19.49 or 17.54 pounds
500+ available

Will stock run out till morning?

If you're after silver in that price range check @Melon's listing for kilo bars. Buying one works out at £17.42 p/oz, less if you get the two.

Sold out. Looks like people start emptying the shelves when price goes under 20 euros / 18 pounds per ounce.

Thanks for the tip @Liam84 but I do not have premium membership to see the listing. And I'd much prefer coins, if the price is similar, as they are easier to sell and have more appeal.

S2G had them at mid £18 the other day on offer, it's 2020 Maples at the moment in that bracket over there. I didn't shout about it as I've started to see them go for that on the forum so figured maybe not the steal of a deal it would have seemed like a few weeks ago?

* Just checked again and Maples are £18.24. Part of me wants to order a bunch but it's still a 32.46% premium so I'm kind of torn...but then I've spent more that on other silver items so...😂

£18.79

The US trade dollar is on discount at the moment, can someone explain why price is relatively low for a coin with 10,000 mintage. Is it because the demand is not there? I think the series looks stunning with the oriental boarder!

What was the average price that you got per coin?

also what do you think of the dragon coins in this series; China and Japan trade coins?

I bought them because I liked them and was going to collect them all. I also thought they would go up in value.

I'm not so sure now. I kept the British one.

If you can get them cheap like the post above then you have nothing to loose.

Noob question: How is this a "US" trade dollar with Queen Elizabeth II on it?

It’s the image on the reverse of the coin which depicts a seated Liberty.

There is a UK trade coin in the series with a standing Britannia.

The China and Japan trade coins both have dragons on the reverse.

There’s also a french trade coin with another seated lady figure - like the Statue of Liberty.

@WotNxt They are restrikes based on historical coins.

https://coinweek.com/world-coins/the-east-india-company-coins/

The series were probably released to appeal to collectors as they trade at a slight premium compared to standard bullion issue coins.

Unfortunately not CGT free, only silver and gold Britannias along with gold sovereigns are CGT free in the UK.

But CGT allowance is quite generous £12k+ so unless you had a massive stash you wanted to liquidate or silver goes to the moon, I wouldn't be too concerned about CGT.

If you did have a massive stash to liquidate you could 'CGT harvest' each year and sell up to the CG limit.
