Im thinking along those lines.
Not bought any gold since last year (excluding miners). ;)

Any small amounts I've purchased this year are now trading roughly at parity. So if it drops, it might be worth picking up a few fractions to DCA down

Do you think if it drops that low there might be difficulties actually finding physical to buy?

I don't think it will tbh, but i just bought 500g of gold and typically it just drops even more ha, but i plan to hold long term anyway so i am not bothered it's just a bit frustrating

Who's the cheapest for 1 oz gold Brits at the moment? Anywhere UK based cheaper than Tavex? 👀

Currently Chards is cheaper, but only orderable (Correct as of 13:48 - 27/10/22):

I'm afraid that Tavex are apparently now cleaned out of these Britannias. Their website currently offers only to buy them. Chards may well be a better bet, even if 'orderable'.

Not so much a great value deal - but may be a "sleeper coin" for years to come for someone, if you dont plan on selling for 10+ years time

Now QEII has passed away/platinum jubilee/top grade 70/unique design

MS70 2022 platinum bullion sovereign £615

Designated Deep Proof Like

https://www.ngccoin.com/census/world/great-britain-decimal-1968-to-date/sc-350/1sov/   x172 in this grade

They have stock of x23

I know seems like a crazy mark up for a common sovereign but a few have sold already on feebay at higher past 8 weeks

£615 seems reasonable when you look at what £615 gets you these days from new RM releases
