Silver bowls?

So I bought two old silver bowls today one weighs 166 grams and the other weighs 342 grams. They say Sterling on the bottoms I paid $200 I used an online calculator and I think I got a good deal I'm gonna post pics of the stamps and see if anyone can give me some piece of mind if they're real or not.

Here's the second one the one in this post says "international Sterling Y91 Prelude" the one above says "Reed and Barton Sterling X957B Windsor"

Well this is a recognised Sterling silver mark - You have got over $200 of silver there - so you got a deal and a half.

niceee googled it but nothing said it's purity so I just went with Sterling melt value. Thanks!

You can or used to get some serious deals at local small town auctions, just learn your weights and if the items are weighted down..get the second one wrong and you get eaten alive.

That's what I was afraid of, I found this in Facebook marketplace. They wanted $250 but I told em $200, wish I would said $180 for an even larger profit margin just to off set premiums from other online places

Also does anyone know what SS 14K means? I know SS can be Sterling Silver and 14k is 14kt, but what does it mean when it's SS 14Kt on the same item?

Sterling is .925 purity. So 92.5% silver.
