One thing for sure there is a lot of South African Gold there, all 999 pure. One would surmise China is paying well over the spot price for S.A Gold, as South Africa has some of the highest mining costs per oz in the world.

Those crates don't look sturdy enough to carry the amount of gold that you could get in them. I could be wrong - crate design is not my day job. But I do recall a video within the bank of England and they had gold bars out in the open, just stacked on each other.

Those boxes look like the already sealed ballot boxes for the as of yet unheld Hong Kong elections. ;)

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.
