Just to get back on track, and say hi.. 🙂 

I´ve used GS.Be a couple of times, and have some QB on the way atm. No problems so far, but i might consider using another dealer, since their courier service is no good.

I live in Denmark, and FedEx, which they use, have a one star rating on Trustpilot. (In Denmark) FedEx customer service is rubbish, the packages dosn´t get delivered, so you have to pick them up yourselve. (2 terminals in the country) And their drivers are not speaking danish or english for that matter..

Its a shame, because GS has all i need, at the right price.. Maybe they´ll start listening to their customers and make some changes..

I'm sure it will be fine and all go well with your delivery. Just check that the parcel has not been tampered with on delivery. If in doubt, take photos before you open it detailing any damage.

Buying from any business is basically a transaction and contract of trust until you receive what you have paid for. As with many businesses, sometimes things go wrong but as usually put right in the end. This particular company is not known for its communication with customers. It is a large well established business and I'm sure all will go well.

Good idea to keep your purchases to yourself and not subject yourself to family opinions.

This forum is full of friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable people. Like all forums, it becomes a little tiresome when new members join and often ask questions that have been asked before and answered, if only people take some time to read up on the topics and threads before posing various questions.

I myself, have been called all sorts of endearing names over the course of life. And I in return, reciprocate. It is just some people's way of talking to others, especially if they don't know them yet are trying to be friendly.

I live in Denmark too and they used to use standard post, then it get's handed over to post nord at the border. it's not gs.be fault that post services are such a mess, fed ex is completely horrible in Denmark. I have asked gs.be to use normal post again and it was no problem.

The reason why they use fed ex is because they listenend to the customers (from uk in this case) standard post from Belgium apperantly hands it over to yodel (or something like that) and it seems they are even worse than fed ex Denmark.

Fair enough. I just saw the "courier" issue, in another post, and have had the same problems. IF i do buisness with GS again, i'll ask to get another courier.

Well here in Ireland we pray for FedEx, they are about the only couriers you can trust to not just dump the parcel outside your house.

Thats why I group my orders now above 5000 and get free FedEx.

i would speak to them BEFORE you place an order. i have discussed the issue of the courier with them before. David became quite defensive. If they say there is no option other than to use couriers you do not believe are up to the job then you know not to place an order.

Yes, they seem to have addressed this issue and switched from Bpost* to Fed Ex, at €4 extra cost. 

* Bpost is the national post and hand off to Yodel in UK.  I dont know why so many over look that.

You know, I stayed in one once back in the '60s. Sure it was warm and cosy at first but the neighbours were noisy, they kept knocking on the walls.

I always felt like I was being watched, weighed and measured.

The taps kept dripping, the drains were often clogged. It soon became claustrophobic; It felt like the walls were closing in...

I complained of course. I kicked up and after a 9 month tenancy I was finally evicted. They tried to remove me physically but failed and had to resort to drugs and a knife.

But I have no regrets. The cord has been cut and now I'm a free man!

I had a similar experience, I was furious with my mother when I got out... "Damn it woman, I asked for a womb with a view..."
