just following on from a post from highland tiger , I ask a question to all members

out of all these so called expert  who knows the most ?

I mean they've all got their 2 peneth  to say  gereld celente, mike malony, greg hunter , I here the words George soros mentioned  quite a lot   peter Schiff

do they know something or do they know  nowt

I get bamboozled just listening to them  they all talk the same and talk very different

who really knows the silver game the most?

I'd say nobody, some just get lucky with their predictions.

It's not predictable.

Reading charts is clever, but you can't necessarily look at the past to predict the future, parameters are different.

I think they all have some kind of agenda.. Whether it be to sell metals, or to make money via youtube or sell newsletter or info

I'll listen to most of them but i'll make my own mind up

2 people i respect the views of are

Jim Rickards for his knowledge of how governments work and think

and Belangp (on youtube) for his in depth knowledge of gold

most of the others i can take or leave

I like rawdogletard , his persona is insane but  he makes some very good points.

I seem to remember a lot of people slating him for selling of alot of his silver around the 28 USD level (roughly), but it was a pretty damn smart move.

No-one can predict the market.

Insiders of businesses might know a deal - is the pre-sale Post Office share price a steal for example ?

The experts until fairly recently still thought the FTSE 100 was worth 8,000 and it dropped about 10% in about as many days to 6200.

Who could have predicted the drop in the oil price ?

Volatility is rampant and there is serious money to be made on the swings but predicting a rise or fall is guesswork as something will always throw a spanner into the works. Hindsight comments on charts are to impress but are too late - join the dots and find something to explain the trend - could be anything !.

Forecasting silver and gold - check out the forums and predictions a couple of years ago.

Stackers would be partying on the moon if those predictions ( experts! ) had been fullfilled.

think along the lines of not what makes sense but what makes money.

as crazily low prices can get lower and crazily high prices... higher.

many experts are both right and wrong, in different percentages.

timing is critical and many experts don't have sufficient information

to make a correct guess on this. the vast trade information of

world markets is vast indeed.

most importantly people that have the money to make the markets

move, take time to take their positions. in a capitalist society 10%

of the people own 90% of it's wealth.

I think it breaks down pretty simply

Things bubble

Is silver currently in a bubble? nope

Will silver bubble in the future for some reason? yep, but when and why I couldn't say.

I think that's pretty much what people like Mike Maloney say.

I personally believe if you buy silver now at today's price you will at some point make a profit

But, I will also say there are a lot better short term investments out there than silver you could take advantage of that would complement your precious metals purchasing and allow you to stack more in the long run.

my Friend Apple Jack would say  "an `EX` is a Has-been  and a `Spurt` is just a Drip under pressure" :D

for me, I listen to most all points of view, and take out those that are good and ignore those that aren`t helpfull, i base Those choices around Logic.

(I code for hardware as a day job, LOGIC is second (and often times First) nature to me).

I think I`ve seen most of the ones mentioned here on youtube, and have the books of a few others also, and I think each has something good to offer, but really you should aim to become your OWN expert (and not an Apple Jack idea of it!)

Most those guys you've mentioned are perma bulls, no matter what the market conditions it's always a buy.

Peter Schiff: maximum respect, the guy that got me into gold but I'm bored of him now.

Gerard Celente: he's a nutter, can't take him seriously.

Mike Maloney: I know he's good but maybe he's a fraud, I'm suspicious.

Greg Hunter: can't stand the bloke.

theres a briliant slanging match on you tube at the minute between russel brand and a guy off fox news who seems to bully all his guests

i think max keisers on russell brands side

its better than watching 2 girls fight

Posted

Jeez.... As celente says 'think for yourself "

Why the hell would you listen to Russell brand for any opinion on anything?

Listen to everyone, trust no one. If it sits well with you go with it. Party on. Go for it

If it doesn't work out, blame yourself and see where n why you went wrong. Then note to self to be more critical and discerning next time

If I knew as much as all those guys claim to know, you wouldn't find me online telling everyone how to do it.

Posted

Did Chris Duane tell you to say that?

"Hey, trust nobody. Except me. Buy my stuff. I'm trying to help, guys, that's why I'm producing silver rounds that cost more than those APMEX ones."
