Hi,  Has Anyone bought from GEIGER Edelmetalle, if so how did it go and what are the bank charges.

postage is 29 euros but there will be other charges. I noticed they are cheaper than silver to go at most unit prices, though you would have to make a large order to make it pay i would have thought.

I am pretty sure they are the actual GEIGER mint, they mint all those GEIGER bars. So I don't think you will have any problems ordering from them.

I haven't bought anything from them, but I am sure you won't have any problems.

Silver to go isn't necessarily the cheapest, it depends on order size, you can use this site to compare prices across a lot of German dealers: http://www.gold.de/silbermuenzen.html

If sending Euros, it might be cheaper to use a currency broker rather than your bank. You send them a domestic transfer and then they deposit the required EUR or other currency into the recipients bank account.

I am not sure if HiFx offer the best exchange rates. But they certainly offer better rates than the banks in the picture above.

IF you are interested, I have Leipziger bars for sale,

16 of them, all in 1 oz form and in a air tights, however a few cases are abit sticky due to me being a dumb nut and putting celotape all over them.

Will give them for £2 over spot, Immaculate condition, Leipziger acutally mint the Noah ark, and Geiger  Edelmetalle silver.

Thanks for the advice ChrisSilver,

I am looking to buy at the best price I can.  Germany being an obvious place to buy silver.  I not sure about the US as my wife bought some kitchenware from there and got hit with customs charges and postal charges 3 months after the items arrived.  Estonia seems just as expensive as silver to go.

Thanks for the offer CurryMuncher69 but I'll give it a miss at the moment.

I mentioned Geigers in another post the other day. Beautiful bars. I have about 10 100 grm bars. and prefer the cast to the security minted but the dealers here in Oz have no problem with them. Check with Iceman.Lovely silver and well priced even landed in Oz.

Baby wipes are good to get most things clean i bet they would get the tape residue off.
