Gold leaf

That picture looks more like gold dust ( or filed brass ?).
Why do you need to test it if you already know/ trust it to be 24ct gold ?
Gold leaf is ultra thin sheets usually about 2-3 inches square.
11 grams would be worth about £300 so don't loose it in the wind.

It is the left over dust used from gold leaf at work. I know this to be 23 3/4 carat.

It is purchased from wrights of lymm and is quite pricey per book. There is a few books worth of waste here!

I need some one to test it as for their own peace of mind. I am struggling to find a company willing to test it.

I imagine they think I have a very tiny amount however as you can see it is quite a pile.

I can send it back to be made back into gold leaf however I think they pay you in gold leaf.

wrights of lymm use to buy it back for either a cheque or more gold leaf.

also habberley meddows in birmingham

both use to take gold scrap of any sort and put it in the furnace and refine it

however, last i heard one of them, can,t remember which,is stopping gold leaf, as gold paint technology has improved.
