Gold sovereign capsules

I use 22.5mm capsules, usually Leuchtturm (Lighthouse). 22mm Leuchtturm are borderline. Cost about 3 pounds (3,50 to 3,90€) per ten here. They are popular over here because it's the  size of the 20c, so every Euro collector needs them in large numbers.

Edit: Not sure why those empty frames appear. Sorry.

great topic, I've been using lighthouse capsules too but don't really like them and been thinking of buying another type of capsules, I saw @JunkBond reply and was about to buy some Quadrum capsules from that website, then I saw @Seasider reply 😆 and I thought I must support the forum and buy air-tite from morezone, so I sent him a message.

I found the thread for Morezone's capsules.  I now realise they are more expensive than I had remembered and than the Quadrum capsules (assuming you actually need 10 of them).  But I do like the way the ring sets off the gold of the sovereign and they do feel nice in the hand.

Great find. I done a search on capsules earlier but must have missed this.

Royal Mint screw capsules here.

I use direct fit A22 air-tite capsules for all my sovereigns and 1/4oz coins which I store in a tube. Only my 1/4oz Queen’s Beasts are in lighthouse capsules because they are the only capsules capable of fitting into a red sovereign case. However, I’m also thinking of encapsulating my Queen’s Beasts in air-tites because they rattle around too much in lighthouse capsules.
