Silver price prediction game.

Can you predict the future? Given the great prophet Craig12's recent call on price drops, can you do any better.

Just for fun, any way you want to do it. Pure guesses, gut feelings or pages of links and justifications. Whatever.

Any accurate predictions will be rewarded with much respect and cudos.

im a simple dollar cost average guy - buy something every month for the pile - whatever is cheap/collectable/looks nice/low mintage/missing from date runs

my own prediction long term is :

my silver & gold will be worth "£more" in "many years times" when i choose to cash on silver/gold chips in at the casino cage of life that is precious metals investing

Whilst I'd never suggest/advise any of you do this..

Have gone for a cheeky £20 per point on Gold. That's putting money where my mouth is ;)

Respect to you for this, even though it's a silver price predictions thread. Occasionally I'm tempted with spread betting but I am always too worried about losses to actually do it.

10 year ago tomorrow silver was at £3.70 and 20 years ago £3.59 the only reason silver is as high as it is now is because of the financial crises and people wanted a safe place to put their money so put it into silver and gold. now the markets are picking up people and investors are moving in there droves in 3 years silver is down 50% and gold 30%. my bet is in 6 months silver will be at the £10 mark.

Silver futures are just too volatile to place stops and with quite a large spread - just asking to get stopped out. I'll only place 1 or 2 of these trades a month when I see an opportunity. Just closed the trade anyway, +84. I'd stay clear of spread betting though, not generally good for your health!

I noticed you were £80 up.

I lost £495 in the blink of an eye doing this!

I was buying on the way down too, so that on the way up, on agregate I would at least cover the spread (a smart move in any situ you`de think), seconds later had a mobile text saying I`d be dropped out of position Very quickly on a margin call.

before I could get back to my laptop (in the nest room) I was out of my position and had only a fiver in my acct total!

please be careful!

I'll adjust my prediction. It'll go down then it'll go up, It'll go down then it'll go up, It'll go down then it'll go up, It'll go down then it'll go up, It'll go down then it'll go up, It'll go down then it'll go up.

Thanks for concern, I will :) (have CISI and IMC qualifications so all too aware how inappropriate or dangerous they can be for most!)

So I should know better! At times it's a bit like picking up pennies in front of a steamroller.
