some people will just put maby1-2k into it and some willing to put 50-60k maby more into it see videos on youtube with stacks over 300k large :{}

Personally its all down to income vs disposable income

Myself iv got a target and when i hit my target per oz ill sit on the bulk of it and just bought semi collectable coins as and when

But my target allows me to cash out and be able to retire with digits in the bank in 20-30-40 years :]

If you are talking just about physical coins, I have spent rather a lot, £2457 so far this month,what I have spent since I started collecting I'll keep to myself, but it is fairly substantial and as Kman it wouldn't make the slightest difference to me if gold and silver went to 0 it is an interesting enjoyable hobby to me and I can enjoy it more in the winter months when my bike is off the road.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

  • 1 month later...

I've been buying Gold for a long time, and stacking for a few years so, I'll keep that information to myself thank you.

Its not how much a person has spent but how much a person can afford to spend, then over the years it mounts up!

So a person on minimum wage might only be able to buy 2 silver coins at a time per month or 25 coins per year, to him/her this may be a bigger achievement than other people spending thousands each year.
