is edward v11 sovereigns a collectable year, the reason i ask is that at atkinsons theyre only £196 a similar price to a 2014 sov 

worth buying or can they be in poor condition?

It tends to be either George V or Victorias which do the best but i'd sooner pick the Edward VII face though than a 2014.

The 1908 'C'  is one of the most collectable of all of the full sovereigns due to the fact that this has a mintage of little over  600.

 

Similarly the 'C' coins of 1909 and 1910 are measured in tens of thousands as opposed to the millions that were minted at  'S' 'P' and 'M' during the same period.

 

Chance of Atkinson's have one of these must be slim to say the least,................ but you can always live in hope!
