Using Google translate to find search terms to use on Portuguese google search to find numismatic/coin shops close to where I am living, so that I can use Google translate again to read the web sites of all the results...... And I am finding nothing! It has taken hours!

 

I have translated a whole thread from a Portuguese forum to find out that in fact there might be 1 shop. By the station. If they decide to open on the day I visit. It's hit and miss apparently. There is also a fair in  Praça Velha (Old Square) one Saturday a month, but it is turning out to be nigh on impossible to find out which Saturday!!

 

Might phone the Coimbra tourist information office before we visit next and see if they can help.

 

Next challenge - to google translate Pawn Shop - I reckon there must be a few there. Always great places to look for oddities!
