Ok, due to ill health my PM purchases have been a bit slow, so now things seem to be looking up again i will be making a purchase of £300 after midnight tonight(the money will be in the bank then) as i suffer from changing my mind a lot will you guys help me out. I know i really want to buy some gold possibly a sovereign from atkinsons for £200 AND MAYBE THE REST ON SOME SEMI numismatic silver. What do you reckon will give me the most bang for my bucks.Only two and a half hours to decide.

Oh, the silver from Aty's too?

What about Klacey's list before he closes it?

If Smokey only has a hundred quid to spend on silver it makes sense to go with Atkinsons. Delivery charges will eat up his cash if he goes abroad No matter who he buys from he isn't going to get much more than 5oz of silver

rethink.....Get the Sov from Atkinsons for 195.98. And then get a Koala, UK Lunar Horse, Elephant, Panda and Falcon from Klacey, which will be £96.75 delivered.

All for a total of £292.73. A little bit cheaper than getting it all from Atkinsons

I would wait till you find something you really want before buying

Sorry Kman, the money will burn a hole in my pocket, besides i am supposed to be just buying as an investor rather than a collector, but to keep things a bit more fun i have decideded to buy some semi numismatics. But thanks for the advice , i think i am going to go with Helping hands suggestions with maybe  a koala instead of the panda. However there is still time to change my mind.I will be buying from Atkinsons that much i do know.

One hour forty minutes and counting, i also like what someone else said on the forum about PM collecting in that you get the spending buzz but are saving money at the same time, double bubble, evaryones a winner.

Yeah but will you get the selling buzz when it comes to selling your stack in your old age. I think I might find it a bit harder to actually sell than to buy. Which is why I'm keeping away from too many numis and bulk up with scrap silver and cheap bullion.

Sorry to hear about your health - all the best for a speedy recovery

£300 tends to be my average purchase price. Always tempted to get more sovs but I simply cannot stop myself getting more silver - just love getting more bang for my buck.

When I can afford a £500-£600 purchase, I'll add a sov and a half

For some variety I'd go 5 x libertads, 2 x 1.5oz polar bears, 1 x 2oz lunar goat, 1 x 10oz koala

£301.58 delivered from STG
