Without worrying about marks and knocks, simply wear. The obverse is between gVF and aEF, the reverse is more difficult, as this shield frequently shows die weakness. I would say it might go aEF.

That's a nice coin.

imo would be worth doing for the 30 quid or whatever. atleast you#ll know it's genuine and whether there are any problems with it. you know never know you may get a nice surprise.

the laurel leaves aren't too bad, i would say 55 (I know what a 58 looks like, i have seen a fair few). it's the G&D that worried me.

Yup, you are right. This is AU-50, primarily because of the G&D side, i think ! Wish it was AU-55 :)
