Hi. New member here.

I've been silverless for a good few years having sold my stack in 2011. But I picked up ten 1oz coins at the weekend and the old stacking instincts returned as if they'd never gone away, even though I only bought them to give as a birthday present!

So I'm thinking of regaining my old physical PM position, and joining this forum seemed like a good way of discovering the new products on offer these days.

In the past I've owned everything from 1oz coins to 5 kilo bars, with a few gold sovereigns and palladium bars thrown in for good measure.

I'm more of a bullion investor than a collector or numismatist, but there is something wonderful about a freshly minted 5oz or 10oz coin ... although I'm sure I'm preaching to the converted on here!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting inspiration from the forum on what (and where) to buy.

Regards, Cubes.

Hi mate, sounds like you sold at the right time and are hopefully likewise with buying now. I like the 10oz coins myself although haven't added much recently. The queens beast series out at the moment is very popular if looking for ideas.

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm looking forward to the whole process.

I'll take a closer look at the Queen's Beasts coins, Stu. I wasn't aware of them until now, and they look quite impressive on a computer screen. I'll try to see some in the flesh in a coin shop in the near future.

Cubes.
