Coins I'm looking for.......

Recommended Posts

I thought this thread may be a good idea, in which you can post specific coins you are looking for.

They can be any precious metal.

I'm aware wanted posts can be posted, but this is a good way for potential sellers to see what people are looking for and possibly help them out with it.

Also other members will be aware and can keep an eye out.

I'll start it off, I'm looking for a Perth Mint lunar series 2 2oz ox.

It might be useful to include max price as I'm sure most coins are available but it comes down a question of cost.

RE: 2oz Ox, I may be able to direct you to one in the £75-80 range.

Yes, I guess a max price may be useful, but not a prerequisite.

I'm looking for the ox at around £70 delivered if possible.

Ok, I'll throw my wants list into the mix.

PM Stock Horses, not the carded ones, but the ones with the paper coa's, both 2013 and 2014. Preferably under £40 delivered if poss. (the further under £40 the better  :D )

Ukraine Archangels, 2011-2014, preferably under £28 delivered.

Would also be interested in a 1/10th gold Ukraine Archangel, for £90 or less. (yeah I know this one is a massive long shot, but if you don't ask!!)

I thought davepanda on here had some 2013's to sell?

Might be worth giving him a shout. Not sure what he charges for them though, if he has any left.

I am looking for two regular bullion issue 5 ounce silver coins in the America the Beautiful series 2012.

They are the "Hawaii" and "Denali"

I see them regularly on USA eBay but often the sellers quote a shipping agent with horrendous processing fees.

Did you look at the coins I was advertising in the FS section?

Did see them mate, very cool coins but a bit to exotic for me, will consider those for a milestone coin though!

I got some space coins. I'll put a link up later.

They're from Turks and Caicos and the Marshall Islands.

Some of the first silver coins I bought.

Be interesting to see what you have:)

I would like a 2005 sovereign, full or half, I see chards do a half for £115 + postage which is ok, but id prefer a full but thats £248 which is too much over spot for me.

With the 2005, being a one off design, I doubt you'll be able to find one cheaper than chards.

it's why I like it, I don't really like the standard sov design, I feel sorry for the dragon, the 2005 dragon looks like it has a bit more fight in it lol bit more grace

I've just had a quick look online and Chards are the cheapest by far. And I'm not talking by a few quid either. If you definitely want a 2005 I'd snap up the chards offer mate.

One just finished on ebay, was @ £235,  I bid £241 last 30 seconds (was postage included), but finished at £255 so no real better than chards

My space themed coins:

Three Turks and Caicos  Apollo space mission 25th anniversary coins. (1994)

And the best of the lot, a Marshall Islands 'first men on the moon coin'. (1994)

Out of the four, my one is the fifty dollar coin on the bottom right with the two astronauts saluting the flag.

Thankfully, its a one ounce silver coin unlike the other three. It's actually a very nice coin in perfect condition.

I wonder what the mintage is?

That is for nothing if you can get  the 2oz series 2 ox  for £80 buy it, they are very hard to find now in Europe and rarely make less than £120,last one on ebay i saw sold for £140

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.
