Books on hyperinflation

Recommended Posts

I am interested in researching hyperinflation/economic collapse in recent times especially relating to Venezuela and Zimbabwe. Being a member of this forum I am clearly interested in the reaction of other assets during these events as well as the social issues it causes. Can anyone recommend and good books or papers on the subject?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks @Lowlow. I am a dick sometimes, I completely forgot that YouTube could also be educational and not just used for smut.

There seems to be a bit of content on there so I am now set up to have a thoroughly depressing day off watching economies collapse. Loving life!

@onlyroadtoheaven you mentioned hyperinflation, but related there are some really good stories from people who survived other kinds of collapse and their experiences with gold, silver, etc.  I remember reading an interesting account from someone who survived Bosnia, talking about snipers in the city, how they traded, what it took to survive, all that, though I don't know that the source of that story could be verified because supposedly it had been translated from Russian to French to English.

I've also seen good videos on Youtube from people who are in Venezuela and Argentina talking about the value of gold during an economic collapse that are really interesting to watch.
