Feels like they're both on a massive sale atm if you look at todays prices compared

That is odd to look at!

My thoughts - It's never a bad time to buy gold or silver. I just feel grateful whenever I'm able to do so. Otherwise, it'll be wasted on something else, never to be seen again.

Or you can look back further - I like this chart showing inflation-adjusted silver price - under both CPI inflation and shadowstats inflation (far more realistic!)

I love a good chart

I don't need to look at this archive to weep.

I only need to look at my spreadsheet where I keep detailed records of all purchases.

Pete, I'm sure it's been discussed before, but was it 2011 you bought most of your stack?

Are you stacking now to reduce your average?

Stacker since 2013

Funny that, I looked down at my beer belly last night and that's all I have left of the £1000's spent on it........... Atleast you have some pM's to show even if they are worth a little less

Yeah to think i bought 2 Gold maples at 1100 each makes me relieved it was a hedge against other investments.

To me Gold now is a good long term investment but looking back I bought my usual when I should of stepped out, hind sight is a wonderful thing.

If I had stuck all the money I'd spent on beer, stamps, film memorabilia, autographs, vintage toys etc and ploughed it into gold sovs. I actually think I'd probably have close to half a million quid worth of gold in todays money.

As it is, I have a slight paunch and boxes of collectables that when I actually sell will probably raise me about £20k.

If only eh..........! :(
