Where to sell in the UK?

Dear All,

I am an expat living in Vietnam, I have just found out I need to pay for an operation here.

As such, I wish to sell some of my silver in the UK ASAP. The operation is urgent and I need to get this done NOW.

Can anyone tell me the best place to sell, I have a monster box of maples and also some Timberwolf Wildlife series. 

This is a genuine message for assistance, I need to have an urgent operation in Singapore and need to sell the silver as soon as possible. 

I would also appreicate any information on other avenues where I can sell the silver (I tried ATS, Bullion by Post but their offers are too low and do not cover the operation cost)

I am not from the UK, I am based in Australia, however from what I have seen and learnt from being on this forum, 'The Silver Forum' is probably one of your better avenues to move your silver.

Perhaps a few members on the forum may do a group buy of your silver.  I do not want to speak for others, but if I was in the UK and if your pricing was competitive I would definitely organise a group buy. :-)

You can use Royal Mail to post silver in the UK.

Put up your prices, I'm sure somebody would be interested on here.

I think you need a minimum post count before you can advertise.

You may struggle with £7500, we can buy a sealed box from Europe for £7150 landed from a reputable company.

I don't think the UK is the best place to offload.

We can get it landed to our door for £7180.  If I were to splash out then I would want 20% off.

Lets take 15% as an example.  £7180 * .85 = £6103.  Take off the VAT £6103/1.2 = £5085 which would be £10.17/coin

Even if it were 10%. (£7180 * .9)/1.2 = £5385 which would be £10.77/coin

These calculations don't take into account delivery of 16kg from Vietnam + insurance which would be 1% of value.
