Could you guy help me by giving me some info and prices for a 1883 Sydney Mint shield half sovereign. It is in quite good condition. But the hair on the queens head is a little worn.

Low mintage? Shields are always popular.

As for grade, ask Alex. He's a Numismatist.

These aren't rare or common and are quite scarce in very high grade. Difficult to say without seeing the coin but, as the above pricelist shows, it depends on the type, and even then it's not easy to say what the value would be.
