Hi Craig

i have been collecting Theresien Talers for a short while and their popularity varies, at present, there are many people looking for them so the price is quite high.

At around 0.75 Troy ounce and 83.3% silver it is fairly simple to work out their scrap value. Check out http://www.theresia.name/en/ and you will find a great deal of useful information. These have been re-struck literally since 1780 up to present day, and the "Haffner lexicon" gives plenty of information regarding the small differences in the re-strikes, which can bump up their value to collectors depending on rarity.

Weighton coins are currently selling Thalers at £14.95 or 10 for £139.95, worth watching their site for deals on these.

I am no expert but hope that this helps out a bit.
