Silver Coin Sets starting this year.

Ok, so we've all missed the boat over the years. You find a nice silver coin set to collect, only to find that you've arrived on the scene a few years after the first coin was issued and the previous few years coins have rocketed in price. Meaning it'll cost a fortune to get the set

Well how about we keep a thread going of coin sets just starting, so we can get on the silver gravy boat ahead of the rest of the world.

I'll kick off the thread with the RM Lunar series.....(going to be buying 12 of them horses next week :) )

anyone got anymore?

@Ares, actually what I'm intending with this thread, is NOT to show what sets each of us are starting to collect this year, but rather what sets have the various countries and mints around the world started this year.

Obviously the RM have started a Lunar Set this year.

There must be other mints who have also started new sets of coins this year. It's those I'd like to get to hear of, in order to consider if I want to start collecting them from coin number 1 in the set

There was one mentioned earlier on another thread about Provident Metals new Hercules set. I'll be looking to Klacey to source these for us. :D I'll certainly be interested in getting a set (or two) of these. Obviously depending on price of course

The 12 Labors of Hercules silver and copper bullion rounds will be released in the order they appear in the Biblioteca:

  1. Nemean Lion – Sept. 12, 2014
  2. Lernaean Hydra – Oct. 12, 2014
  3. Ceryneian Hind – Nov. 12, 2014
  4. Erymanthian Boar – Dec. 12, 2014
  5. Augean Stables – Jan. 12, 2015
  6. Stymphalian Birds – Feb. 12, 2015
  7. Cretan Bull – March 12, 2015
  8. Mares of Diomedes – April 12, 2015
  9. Girdle of Hippolyta – May 12, 2015
  10. Cattle of Geryon – June 12, 2015
  11. Apples of Hesperides – July 12, 2015
  12. Cerberus – Aug. 12, 2015

Nice topic HL

I believe the perth mints 1oz crocodile is the start of a Australian wildlife series along with their 1/2 great white shark.

For me the Royal mints lunar series is the pick of the bunch, it'll be interesting to hear some others, after all starting at the beginning of a series is the cheapest way.

According to the Canadian Mint Website it is.

Good stuff, thanks buddy.

I always assumed it was a 6 coin series like the wildlife series.

We should be expecting number 2 in the series within a couple of months.

Stacker since 2013
