Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

A classic set of 9 karat gold cuff links and a 1970's fruit-machine charm. The dials spin when you pull the handle, although sadly little gold coins don't shoot out when you win. Worked out as an 11% premium included postage which isn't bad at the moment.

@Toshunya86 What's so confusing about the Elton coin? Lol

My first ancient coin, a Greek Drachm. Purchased purely cos it has a Bee on it... and Bee's are cool 🤦‍♂️

Will be sent off for grading and NCS to clean up some of the surface contaminants a bit, but not bad for a coin thats over 2k years old.

Stunner! Where did you get it?

It doesn’t stop catching my breath how brilliant and sparkly silver is, and the QB designs and mintage really brings out the very best. Many thanks @GSTrading

Lovely series-thank you for purchasing! :)

That’s all folks!

I’m done for a long, long while in terms of significant purchases.  But what a way to finish.

Thank you so much to @terakris for taking the risk initially on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Sovereign Set and then for grading them and in turn providing me the opportunity to buy 😄

Tiny mintages on the 2012 Sovereigns and only 295 four coin Sovereign Sets produced 😮

The 2017 200th Anniversary Piedfort Sovereign also from Kris.  Thank you also to all who bought my Silver Libertads which helped fund purchasing these beautiful Sovereigns 👍

You're very welcome buddy - enjoy them, its a lovely set!
