30 x 1 oz Kangaroos from GoldSilver.be. Paid just over £20 each including delivery, seems to be the cheapest in stock 1 oz silver coins around! This is my first big purchase and the start of my silver stack.

I'm really liking the kangaroo design and i'm looking to collect some of the gold kangaroos too! 😃

Congratulations on that, 30 to kick things off ; welcome to the wonderful world of stacking 👍

The gold roo's are also awesome.  Bought my first one on the forum about 2 months ago.  Would really recommend you get a premium membership if your in the market for good deals, plenty to be had here if you fast enough to catch them 😉

Enjoy

It doesn't get much better when the postman brings shiny things two days in a row!

I only received my first ever piece of gold yesterday to add to my stack and today saw a second piece of gold arrive to keep it company.

My 1/4 oz Gold Standard is joined by a stunning 1/4 oz Lion of England this time courtesy of @arshimo2012, who is an absolute gent it must be said.

Am I being swayed towards the yellow stuff from my beloved silver.....still not sure yet......not quite the same heft holding a 1/4oz of gold by comparison to say 20oz of silver......messes with the head a little! Time will tell.

Just need to find a good quality capsule for the wee Lion and I think I could do with finding a good quality monster box to start keeping everything together too.

Flying start on the gold there bud. Personally I think it's more exciting to hold than silver

Postman making me a happy chappy today :)

Some reasonably high grade half crowns- 1888 Victoria and 1915 and 1916 KGV. The 1916 has a lovely dark toning to it and better eye appeal, but I think the 1915 is in better condition so decided to put that one in the folder- tough decision really.

An ok 1821 crown but with a few obverse scratches that are quite deep.

Larger than crown sized German 5 mark from the state of Wuerttemberg :) great condition for the age and size and a lovely feel to it.

Decent grade and well struck George V silver is surprisingly difficult to find:ph34r: unfortunately the major auction houses seemed to have started to realise this and estimates for quality examples are going up - and I haven't completed my set yet:(

highly faked

And restruck, though official and of silver, had the similiar problem when getting a 1938 Hungarian 5 Pengo  St Stephen, the originals are most common, the restrikes are rarer but its hard to distinguish the difference on some of them except for the prooflike editions, and luckily so far the fakes are just awful.

I think I went a little bit crazy on gold purchasing this week 🤪

But I’m proud to say that I bought all of these pieces from the forum.

Thanks @kneehow2018 for the 1oz Britannians.
Thanks @TheGoldSovereign for the jubilee head.

Thanks @arshimo2012 for the proof Double sovereign.

And Thank you very much @UnoWho for the beautiful 1oz panda , I will not hesitate buying coins from him in the future, he’s a very reliable seller.
