My first Libertads for the stack (thanks @AgD).

And a few gold coins for the collection? I guess I'm a collector, now :) (thanks @richatthecroft).

A collector of Libertads & Proof Sovereigns- you're doomed, doomed I tell you- you'll soon not dare take a look at  http://goldprice.eu5.net !

Apologies up front...I will have to break up my received coins over several posts, since most everything arrived after I had been away for several weeks...the variety shall not disappoint.

Kicking us off with some silver...the 2015 - 2019 Republic of Congo 1 oz Silver Silverback Gorilla (Prooflike) series. I picked these up as I also gifted a set to an Air Force colleague of mine who goes by the same call sign as these one ouncers!

Next, a recent release 2019 Netherlands 1 oz Silver Ducaton Silver Rider Proof Restrike. Really like this design!

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

Yeh got couple easy coins to get and 3 high premium that I haven't yet bit the bullet on. 2014, 2003 and 2004 and a few early 90s I'll pick up this month then all I need is 98,99 and 2006. Oh and then there's the 2oz and 5oz to finish 😣🤪

Sold my una and lion 2oz gold proof coin and used the profit to buy a 1761 Yeo Pattern Guinea in recent BSJ auction. I receive the coin today and really like it!

Whoa! If a $20k windfall opens doors to this type of coin- just think what a Lottery win would buy.

Well done on this investment.  What drew you to this particular coin?  Obvious rarity/ beauty apart?

I’m amazed by the story of George III guineas. In 1761 three artists tried their best to make a nice portrait for the king who is not easily pleased. Richard Yeo’s version here (which is my favorite) is the most realistic one but not flattering to the king.

Fantastic addition!! That is a superb selection of a more valued historical coin! ...You didn’t happen to sell your Una and The Lion to APMEX, who in turn looks to have sold it for $40,000??
