Our more astute members may have observed posts bemoaning my inability to buy cheeky sovereigns at the moment.  Apart from my purchases of sovereigns, here are a few more items contributing to my current state of impecuniosity.  Meet Germania 2020, Fafnir and the Oak Leaf.

 

 

And seen with the rest of my Germania.  Some overpaid, some at a reasonable price.

Very unexciting, but these i picked up a couple of £1 Silver proofs on the bay for about £12 each. Thought it'd be a nice and cheap set to put on the watch list

Gold, Silver & Bronze today.  A lovely 1839 Victoria Proof Plain Edge Sixpence, a Charles I Groat & thank you @DuncanWylieWilson for the 1953 Elizabeth II South Africa Long Set.

Photograph's at the bottom are a comparison of the 1839 Plain Edge with my 1853 Milled Edge Proof Sixpence and nice to look at the four different Victoria Proof Sixpences- the Young Head’s and the 1887 Jubilee and the 1893 Veiled Head.

Just to lower the tone a little after @richatthecroft's stunners above, here are the latest 2 of my Brit date run. 2005 and the 2017 trident privy. Both in great shape, but won't be looking for any other privy coins unless they fall into my lap.

Only 98, 00, 01 & 02 to go now...

A while since I posted on this thread. Thought I would share a very special coin. A 2022 pattern plain edge piedfort quarter sovereign. One of only 70 minted and one of only 12 graded as PR70 Ultra Cameo by NGC.

Stunning.

Don’t underestimate the difficulty and your tenacity in putting together decent examples of Britannia for a full date run- It will be a lovely collection 👍

Electric out for 4 days and just got boil water notice stopped tonight...but only lost water for three days, lost 8 lanai screens but that's it for now, will take a bid rain storm to find if there's a leak, lost my frozen goods but thankfully didn't have aa full tenderloin in there.
