I decided to buy my first coin last Thursday after joining the forum. Started with a 1/4oz Britannia and decided I would only get myself one a month and not be silly.

Five days later I now have a 1oz Britannia, 1oz TB Yule of Beaufort, 1/4oz TB Lion of England, a 2022 double sovereign and three sovereigns. There's also a 1oz TB Lion due tomorrow and a 5 sovereign BU on back order with RM.

You're all bad influences 😁

As long as its only around £6k a week or so you spend you'll be fine!!😀

soooo once again thanks to @BackyardBullionfor another healthy (if you dont count my bank balance) addition to my wonderful chess set, now onto the black pieces and hoping to get the whole set completed by march, wish me luck, oh and from the Royal Mint finally received both my BU Uncirculated definitive set and the BU annual coin set

Got my double sovereign today. Thanks @Prodigy.

Took a few pix then hid the coin away. Then realised the pix are c**p lol.

Will dig it out at the weekend and take sone decent shots of it.

Thats it for me this year, im done (other than the 2oz silver coin i bought yesterday lol)

Going from weeky to monthly pay in a couple of weeks so gonna take a hit.

Exactly right. Always wise to wear gloves when handling nice coins. I asked my missus to buy me some and she got me a lovely pair.

It's fine just show the wife the coins and show her the price which is clearly printed on the coins. Mine was livid when she worked out I'd spent £425 on 4 ozs and a quarter 😏

It took some working out, but i got there in the end. No fingers were harmed in the making of the photograph!
