Excuse the beginner question, is a cameo a different release than the normal proof or is just a different grading?

Perhaps to rephrase the question... Did people have the option to buy a cameo version at the time of release or is it just one that came out better ?

After being shafted by TRM again on release day for the James 1 coin I gave  up on these but by chance I checked the other day and they were back in stock so I nabbed one…. Even though I expected it to be a crappy return, it looks perfect to me so for a change I am actually happy with my experience with TRM 🥹

Thanks to @Pilsbury for these coin tubes. Just the thing I've been looking for. I've got full sov's in the red cap tubes, a half sov in a black cap tube and 1/10ths in the other black cap tube. My left over red tube will be for the 1/4 TB and/or 1/4 QB. Now I have some order to what I'm doing and a goal to fill them. Happy days 👍😁👍

Picked up 6 more sovs - paid a good price. Interestingly i heard the guy who owned the pawn shop say to his colleague “might aswel get rid of them now before the a*se falls out”. I guess he is expecting gold to tank soon.

One of the sovs is from another shop, who only had one in. He said they don’t have many in as “everyone is saving in gold at the moment “.
