Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Another small gold delivery today but an absolute stunner and a very very nice piece. A 1/20th 2016 libertad. These really don't come up often so I was chuffed to get my hands on it. I also am not 100% sure but I think it might be an ex-proof. All the fields are/were mirror finished from what I can tell and as far as my limited knowledge of these goes, aren't the bullion/uncirculated Matt on these?

that 1/20th looks nice about the same size of ya thumbnail by the looks.

I was tempted by the 2oz Lunar III mouse sold by @James32 and then decided "what the heck" let's build the set adding the Ox and Tiger so now I am committed, waiting for 2023.

All 3 coins arrived today -

Tiny addition to the stack as I’ve decided to go down 1/10th route again as I change my mind more than the weather,

2022 1/10th gold Britannia.

Lovely, I do like these as I have a 1/10th Kruger Rand which I inherited from my father. So I have a fondness for 1/10th sizes. One day I'll start getting some more.

I do love a bit of fractional gold I had 7 in a rm tube previously changed my mind what I was collecting and tbh I’m going down a different career path and invetween jobs so I need to be more sensible, all the best with your 1/10th quest.

Pointless having a coin too big to fit in the safe..lol.

You have to be careful with fractionals.

Luckily, they're great with that kind of thing round there - Specsavers on every corner! Didn't help with my 1/10th Britannias though. They're now part of Davy Jones' locker. Well, his petty cash tin at least."

I love buying these, then after one has arrived I get remorse wishing that I had saved the money for something like a full sovereign!
