Yes, and worth the wait they were. Lovely and chunky.  I can see me being in the market for something in the 5oz and 10oz brackets at some point, to round things out.

Postie looked at me a bit funny while delivering a suspect parcel to an address in Northern Ireland thankfully it was only these two stunning blanks for taking down the local Werewolves when they come knocking! Thanks so much @LiquidMetalsUK they are an awesome addition to my collection!

Got this VERY nice proof £5 crown from the Royal Mint today, but in rather unusual packaging for a proof coin, and the coin itself also seems unusual in that it has a maximum mintage of 7,500 and is only available from the shop at the Royal Mint. Also, I don't think this £5 design is available in other metals!

The limited edition, packaging, and availability (literally from only one physical shop in Wales) all seem very unusual to me.

I hope they still have some left! They've been on sale since at least January apparently, so I felt jolly lucky to stumble upon some this late in the year. Maybe they made a new batch of 7,500

Have to say super impressed with Tavex, never seen such quality packaging from a dealer, puts RM to shame.  The customer service was first class too.

As chance would have it I received the 2016 silver proof of this today. A lovely thing, with a mintage comparable to the Kew 50p, for very little money. Really nice condition too. Chuffed.

Couldn't agree more. I actually emailed them to say how I impressed I was. Don't think I've ever been moved to do that for another ccompany of any description.
