Do / does this sov box come with additional trays for the two recesses under the main tray or not deep enough?

No outer box I am afraid, was just in foam packaging and then a brown cardboard box.

No these are just bits for paperwork/proof certs I assume. It would be deep enough for another tray but the two layers of foam appear to be glued down so it could be messy to get them out, the side also has a ribbon lining which may come out if you were to do that.

I've had a good tug on the foam as you may tell to understand this situation!

I had some 5mm clear acrylic cut to size to fit the two inner squares with various size holes cut in to suite the coins I was collecting at the time 👍

Here is the double layer one I had cut that takes the 1/4oz and 1oz RM screw capsules with the lip . The top layer holds 10 x1oz & 10 x 1/4oz and bottom layer holds 11 x 1/4oz .

Nice SOTD sovereign.  Will be going off for grading (grubby marks are on the capsule).  Hoping to get a top grade for this low mintage coin (739).

The company that made them are called UK Designz , they make any type of coin display that you need , can be found if you google the name , these were laser cut from 5mm clear acrylic and cost about £12  a few years back .

Received this beauty in today. 2021 1/4oz Kookaburra gold proof. 500 max mintage. I had no idea the perth mint had released a quarter oz version until this past december. I had a hard time finding one available to purchase. You can find the 5oz silver Kook HR 2021 coin available all day long. But not this coin. Still this was much cheaper versus more recent releases in quarter oz gold proof coins I want to get from the royal mint.
