The postie delivered this from the Royal Mint today. How long, I wonder, will it be before the RM issue a 10oz silver version. This design lends itself to the larger format and will be simply stunning.

With a mintage of 7k all depends if you prefer it in the box or slab, i prefer them in the box myself but i wonder how many will get graded? If and when my 5oz silver arrives i have the same dilemma but with a lot smaller mintage i might go the grading route. I wonder what others will think, grade or leave alone!!!

Doesn't everyone worry thst they will just spot and go milky as with all RM silver be hard to shift for some very expensive silver

This is whats stopping me from buying the proofs. Milky overpriced coins. I'd rather save up and buy the gold bullion version

Some random 1oz silver coins from Sharps Pixley and I got this nice 2008 Kookaburra.

I’ve only ever had one Kookaburra before so this was a nice surprise. The finish is almost proof like.

Today I picked up this 1873 young head sovereign for a good price at my local bullion dealer in the High Street.

I got my 1oz gold proof GB today but sadly I found a small hole on top of the lion. Should I send it back ? Not sure what to do ? What would you do ?

Not going to lie really upset. I wanted perfection and did not get it. I wonder if I can get a replacement ? Still a really nice coin.
