I won the Ebay auction for this 2015 silver proof set at an excellent price, my intention being to plunder the elusive £1 coin for my collection and sell off the remaining coins. I was surprised by just how attractive the set is and am now having to reconsider my intended butchery....

Good day for new stuff.... Received my SOTD Brexit sovereign. Got lucky and seems i have a good one, so will send for grading should be an easy 70.

Also received my prize from @ChrisSilver where I won the monthly prize draw and the huge haul of premium member additional items... membership paid for over and over right here!

NGC census update day provided me with some results for my growing 1977 collection... pretty happy with most of these - all went for NCS treatment. Random selection to show the diversity in shapes, sizes and designs;

 

Oh, and I have some before pics of the Bermuda coins prior to submission and NCS... check these out and how they look now!

Its from the Netherlands. It was produced by Franklin Mint I believe - I do have the original packaging stashed away somewhere. I agree, its a cracking coin.

Thanks - getting a 70 for a 40+ year old coin is pretty amazing, im always chuffed to bits if i get a 70! Focus mainly on the gold ones, but have things like the silver crowns, proof coin sets from other countries too. Some of those I grade, some I don't.
