found out today I bought 2nd hand bullion from bullion rock (, Guernsey mint ) never said on the description

naughty..

Why worry, ..... If you ever sell, then the person you are selling to will be buying "second hand" bullion. To be honest unless you are buying straight from the mint then everything is second hand.

In fact I believe that STG's entire inventory, is classed as second hand bullion, hence the VAT breaks used to give us cheap silver.  Doesn't stop any of us buying from them.

I thought it was a mint ,, it says in the description were very proud of the coins and bars we sell and make / with it being a Guernsey 8  and it wasn't a coin I,d heard of  I thought they actually made the Guernsey 8s

I believe in the description box they state 'mintage dates may vary', because they're past dates doesn't necessarily mean the coins are second hand, they store bullion in their vault for people and when they sell they put the coins back on the shelf.

suppose that's the same as I was told , I asked if they had any more 2012  Guernsey 8s  and the guy said  we don't carry any exept the current year , what you bought was probably some we bought back or was sold to us

looking back I suppose it stands out like a sore thumb  the special offer page read

2014 Guernsey 8s  £13.50

2012 Guernsey 8s  £12.50  and there was only 8 left in stock
