2014 SILVER 1oz Britannia weigtht

Hi everyone, so i just got my vernier callipers from ebay and they are great for the price. I am trying to find the right dimensions for my 2014 britannia silver 1oz coins. most wesites seem to only give diameters. Silver to go have it at 1.5mm which has to be an error when you compare t to most other coins which are all around 3mm ish. Could someone please measure one of theirs so i have a reference please. Mine seem to come out at2.69mm. I am putting the lip of the coin inside the cutout section of the jaws so as to not get a false reading.

apparently it's supposed to be ~2.97mm

2013 and 2014 should be the same whereas 2012 and before should be thinner

HH

Hmmm, I must have duff info.

I was always under the impression that the .958 britannias were 3.1mm thick but you suggest they are significantly less than that.

Stacker since 2013

Just realized i put weight in the title when i meant thickness, looks like im the thick one , if i measure it including the rim it comes in at 3mm.But sitting the rim inside the cut out in the jaws , it comes in at 2.69mm. This coin is from Atkinsons and passes the magnet test very well and i am sure it is genuine, but as i said i cannot seem to find a good website that gives the thickness. Also the weight and diameter are correct.
