To be fair spot is at an all time high so I don't anticipate a lot of people buying until we see some stability in gold price especially not a big thing like this. Still,if there's a buyer great, if not then I'll just continue amusing myself by writing nonsensical parables by way of a bump until I get bored and forget about it.
If only some of the people panic buying on the damn high street would do it here!

Hey all, I have a nice 50 peso here that needs to find a new home (truth be told I overspent when some queens beasts came up for sale recently and i dont like the taste of dog food). For those who don't know this is a 90% pure gold coin which contains 37.5g of fine gold. I don't know what the other 10% is however I am actually throwing it in for free - could be copper, could be diamonds, I haven't checked and I make no guarantees.
Price is currently £1825 with free special delivery and the bonus 10% weight of something on top of the 37.5g of gold. I would consider trade for soverigns or half soverigns, not too fussed about years so open to offers
It has a ding in it, it's probably been dropped somewhere in its life and it has the expected patina of a coin that's lived free of the indignity of a plastic box.
This Is a cracking piece if you want something you can handle without worrying about tarnishing.
With the upcoming release of John wick 4 you can use this large, exotic looking piece of gold to indulge your (or your wifes) assassin fantasies or pretend to your kids that you are in fact just like John Wick, or at least a slightly older, balder and lamer version.
Better than all this however I'm selling at spot (which is currently as low as its been in a long time....honest, no need to check that fact) and I'll include free rmsd.
Just to be clear I work weird hours and may be slow to get back to you, bear with me.
So go on grab a bargain before we get to 2 grand an ounce and you can't afford this which may well be this time next week.

    Hello fellow members.
On the 23rd March, it will be 3 months since I joined this forum.
I have decided as a thank you to all the members who have bought from me or have done a swap with me, this is a free competition for you.
The rules are very simple and costing you nothing but a little thinking and some luck.
All you have to do is predict what the spot price of silver in $ to be 23rd March at 9pm when US Markets close. Who ever is closest in cents above or below the closing price will be the winner of the 1oz silver coin. I will be using bullionbypost.co.uk price at 9pm to get the final closing price.
To make it fair for members who post their price first, the cut off will be 9pm Friday 17th March. Any prediction after this will not be valid. Think carefully as each member will only have one chance and no editing is allowed. Your first prediction is the only valid entry.
    @SheepStacker @Mtaybar @ZRPMs @DuncanWylieWilson @AndrewSL76 @margin @Petra @JoeBlack @Faiz @Solachesis @stefffana @andrewse  @Mrpound  @ArgentSmith @gji25 @Darr3nG @Geovest @arphethean @stackerp5 @Arganto @JamesH @AndrewB @JohnA1 @Goldbeam @PapaLazarou @Domo
The coin will be posted there after to the winner who I will announce on this thread.
Anyone new  who buys anything from me up to 16th March will be allowed to enter.
    Good luck

No that's spot price, you can't get silver at spot price unfortunately.
I get my £22 from an average of the lowest I've seen sell recently £20.80 in a preorder and £23.20 currently on offer from theman73.
Would I actually swap for 70 Oz's ? Unlikely as I fought to get the gold.

    Good advice.
I have a question though - why would you want 72ozs of silver, when the current ratio is at 90?
    Would you not want 90ozs?

Sell your silver first the buy whatever your heart desires.
If I was to swap you now for a 1oz spotless britannia and accept your silver as a trade, I'd want 72ozs at £22 each and need them to be spotless too.
Why else would I give up gold for silver?
As you can see it's best to sell first

I think it needs one or two more straws before it takes off, US interest rate rises and the strength of the dollar holding it back at the moment.
Those straws are all things likely to cause more pain than gain for most though
    Stock Market crash
    Collapse of the dollar
    Escalation in Ukraine
Financial crises bought about by the collapse of one of the big banks or financial institutions
Restructuring of the worlds settlement systems with an East/West split
    etc. etc. etc.
I would rather see a steady price with small ups and downs personally, but I have gold to store wealth not make it.

So long as they keep printing money (or creating it) based on nothing at all (the dollar and pound are both off the gold standard) gold will inevitably rise. There will be short term dips along the way of course, but they can't print gold. The more money they print, the more inevitable it is that gold will rise. The opposite is true of course for cash.

I was the same.  Started stacking, went a little down the collector route with the jubilee and memorial sovereigns, but decided to sell them and stick will low premium bullion from now on.  (The ordinary britannias are lovely IMHO.)  Fortunately I timed it right and didn't make a loss on the sovereigns, just a very small profit, but I feel happier to be back to just stacking, even if it is just one or two Britannias per year.
I was never into proofs, but I am sure I have read on here that over time they tend to drift down towards their intrinsic, not holding their initial premium.  Maybe someone else can help confirm?  @LawrenceChard maybe?
