Hi Everyone, I have not been on here for ages but just thought I would drop in say hello.  Still stacking silver, never sold an ounce but recently bought gold sovereigns as well got 8 of them now.  Still waiting patiently for the moonshot 😜 happy to hold I mean the alternative is that horrible FIAT stuff right?
Anyway keep stacking guys.  I still watch Backyard Bullion on youtube regularly and I like coin guy and  silver stacker etc. Don't post on the forum unless I have something to say.

As things stand, I have a little dachshund who had three teeth removed last year and sticks his tongue out when he sleeps (it’s true - broke one tooth on a plastic bone and the vet gave me a telling off about his dental hygiene and said he needed to have a few removed - the shame) and I don’t think they give shotgun licenses to people who live in flats in a city centre…nice thought though.

I doubt it, the Chinese obviously want Gold and Silver as they are willing to pay a premium to slowly bleed the West dry.
We are going to find out pretty soon if the West has been manipulating PM's.

Have not posted for ages but thought I would drop a line.  Still here, still stacking and waiting for the inevitable.  Only thing that has changed is that the world is in a bigger mess now than when I started stacking in March 2020 and the world is gettting worse by the day.  So the Comex is not fooling this stacker and the dollar will turn down soon and the FED willl pivot then BOOM! 😀

Good luck getting them for spot price I have paid over spot on Ebay but demand is getting hot.   I keep mine in a zip bag that came with one tranche I bought from Ebay.   I am in the UK so I am buying pre 1947 Crowns/half crowns, Florins/two shillings, shillings, sixpenses and threepences.  The rules I go by are:
1/ I look at the sellers feedback, it must be 100% positive, must have mainly dealt in silver and especially pre 1947
2/ I take a price I am aiming for and establish a target and divide it by the weight (grams).  I do not go over that price and my aim is always to average down my main price per gram.
e.g.  someone is selling 800g and the price is already up to £209 (including postage!) So 20900 / 800 =  26.125‬p per gram.  This is a no buy for me as my total stack of pre 1947 coins is at 24.5p per gram.
3/  If a coin seems expensive and says something like "rare" I look to see if there are other bidders for it.  If there are a few bidders for it then it gives me confidence that the coin is indeed worth the money.  In other words I don't have the knowledge and experience in coins as I do in guitars so I am relying on other peoples expertise.
4/  As soon as I buy I do the weight magnet and ping test and satisfaied with that then add that weight to my stack and work out the new average price per gram

I think silver will take off within 2 years.  Watch for gold hitting $2500 - $3500 and that tells you the rich are flocking there for a safe haven.  At that pont people start looking seriously at the value of Silver and they will notice the ridiculous valuation it has now 123:1 Gold Silver ratio and that is the highest in all of history.    This is why I started buying it 5 weeks ago.
I am not an expert and the statements I put out are my own reasons for buying silver.  I do advise people do their own research.

The spot price is moving that is what I am referring to.  I just posted on the deals thread that I bought a 1kg casting bar of silver from Baird in London 3 weeks ago for a total including VAT and delivery for £496.  This morning I did a fake buy for the same bar and it is now £530.  Same with junk silver pre 1947 are 0.5 % silver if spot moves up to twice its posiiton now then it is all relative 🙂

Too early to say if it is crazy pricing.  If gold goes to $3000 an ounce as Bank of America forcast the other day and some think that is a very conservative prediction and it could go to the moon!  Silver which is already very undervalued running at 123:1 gold to silver ratio could be $50 dollars an ounce in no time and past $100 per ounce in the medium term.  If these predictions from smarter people than I come true and the stackers like me believe it or at least are willing to take a punt on that analysis then these "crazy prices" become a wise and rewarding investment.
My views are not advice to anyone and I am just another fool trying to make his way in the world.  I know nothing more than anyone else just trying to make the best of information and educate myself in economics and silve stacking 🙂

I like the consolidation on the silver price and the premiums still high on the auction sites.   I got a load of silver last week just from a chance conversation with a lady who had been left a massive coin collection.  I bought the lot, took me 4 days to sort it !!  So I got some pre 1920 and 6 kilo of pre1947 coins.  I have a few commerative coins which I am trying to sell but I have thousands of pennies, halfpennies, thrupenny bits 12 sided brass.  I was thinking of getting a devils forge but wondering whether it is worth it to make copper bars.

PS that buy brought my average price per ounce down £3 to £18.21 🙂

The premise seems to be contracts roll over to later months as there isnt any supply for delivery. There is another simple reason, the contracts are bought by speculators that dont want delivery, so next month, next quarter or end of year is fine for them. The fact they ignore this possibility, means you should probably ignore their conclusions as they are flawed.

It has bounced off $30 a few times now.  I reckon it will break that after the election or when the Equities crash whichever is soonest.  The dollar still looks to be in a downward trend.

30 dollars. The resistance always seems to be in dollars. Every time it gets close to 30 dollars it get knocked down. Like it did today. Maybe 30dollars + in another week or 2 then a big smack down.
