  1. possibly because silver 2oz is thicker than gold 2oz hence better placement on silver?
  2. I have only received 2oz so far, waiting for rest to arrive.
  3. It was/is a meaty topic. More to come when coins are in hand shortly.
  4. Essentially speculation or rather gut feeling is what I was after. For example I know a dealer who is offering upto £7000 already for gold version which gives an indication that it may do well but then it could be one/two off thing and may not sustain that premium OR it may further strengthen due to low mintage numbers. Completely agree that the reality will come into play only when everyone has coin in hand and we get to see how they look, quality etc.
  5. Fair point however the dimensions will collide in the next 2-3 weeks or rather we will all be back living in the same boring dimensions we always have been. Coming back to my question, I completely understand when you/others say we have to give 6-12 months to see how it does which is a fair point but I was asking about the feeling related to this release. Offcourse I am not going to come back in 12 months to hold you/other responsible because eventually if I pay £1K for 5oz silver and it crashes, I am the only one to blame. With everything we have known so far, design, mintage...do we think it could be a winner and by winner I did not mean matches Una.
  6. Thank you but I am very specifically talking about 2024 Great Engravers. It has been 3 weeks now so I thought it would give enough time to sense how it went hence I will get some answers if I can buy now or wait?
  7. Taking inflation into account, if you are very young...it's a solid deal to have and definitely worth a lot more in future even in gold terms if not real value.
  8. What is the general consensus here on the group for this new GE coins? Is it okay to buy 5oz/10oz silver proof if I get a chance at reasonable price?
  9. FURTHER REDUCTION IN PRICE TO SELL - £2400 posted special delivery.
  10. 2021 Quintuple Sovereign PF70 NGC Graded for sale. Looking for £2750 posted special delivery. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Low Mintage - 500 FURTHER REDUCTION IN PRICE TO SELL - £2400 posted special delivery.
  11. Would anyone know what is the mintage of 2oz gold and silver this time? Is it safe to think that it will be similar to gothic version?
  12. Could be both the version of 2022 sovereign in one box?
  13. No, you are mixing 2 years. This coin was release in 2020 and 2021. 2020 - It was released as a part of the set with mintage of 75. 2021 - It was released individually with mintage of 260.
  14. These are 2021 coins. The one above is from 2020 (very limited).
  15. What would be a good price for 2020 Team GB 50p Gold Proof Graded PF70? Low Mintage - 75 (Was only part of 2020 Gold Set).
