  1. AHH thank goodness, a reply, I am getting drunker and drunker by the minute. It has been an exceptional Saturday. Usually buy a coin every 6months, but I've been putting it off lately. I'm only 38, I'm tempted to sell some GDXJ shares and also fresnillo..... what a fricking week it has been!!! 😂. Don't worry I haven't ever bought a panda 👍
  2. Hi all, I'm looking to buy 2 britannias with this pullback. From the 28th Feb, since breaking above resistance I've found it hard to find a decent pull back to make a purchase. Kicking myself for not buying at is was going up, anyone else think this is a good pullback or wait a few days more next week? Thoughts?
  3. Bit of profit taking at the end of the day yesterday, I'm excited to see what next week holds. Price discovery after a new high is always exciting for a bug like me :).
  4. Looks like tavex will pay up to £1795 for a Brit, that's much better than chards/Hatton garden. Cheers Dankanugget 👍. Can't see an option to sell on the website which is a shame, I'm guessing you called them?
  5. I've tried this in the past, what about bullion dealers? Also I think quite a few want to take profit off table on here. Though I could be wrong? I'll try tavex too
  6. Gold now £1820! Where is the best place to sell, anyone sell to British bullion in Bristol before? Looking to take some profit off the stack. Hatton garden and chards I'm thinking may be secondary online options, anyone else sold at these higher prices? And where did you get success. I walked into a antiques shop that had sell l/buy gold on the sign outside but the shop owner had never seen a Britannia, lady almost fell to floor when I said what it was worth!
  7. Exciting stuff, just need the mining stocks to catch up now. Can't be long if the gold price is at all time highs?
  8. US dollar on the defensive, had disappointing US macro data, also think Fed is less hawkish so maybe a tailwind for gold.
  9. Hopefully will close above the neckline for the head and shoulders today, if it does then I think we have a confirmed breakout on our hands :D.
  10. Best place/price to buy a 1oz King Charles 2024 Britannia this week anyone? £1672.20 is the best I've found so far. Cheers.
  11. New 2024 britannia just released too!
  12. I shall let you know, hard to sell anywhere it seems at spot or the price you pay. The volatility at the moment is great for buying dips and I've been capitalising hard, but if your a seller looking to liquidate an unwanted coin you can't really do much to time the markets. I did really miss an opportunity 2 weeks ago though but I didn't have the cash 😭.
  13. Brilliant sent another email, but you have clarified the secondary postage part here.
  14. I do quite like the forum and the people are pretty friendly and helpful 😁
  15. Yes this forum seems to be working a very different way to how it did when I was here last. I sent the coins after payment, like with ebay, putting the risk on the buyer mostly. Now it's the seller that sends the goods first, before payment is made, putting the risk the other way around. Quite odd, but presumably the times have changed, there are a lot of trade sellers on here who are reputed sellers, with lots of stock and reputations to keep. So it's shifted with the times, in a good way for all buyers. But perhaps not the small time sellers. Seems like it's impossible for a small collector to sell a coin for what he pay for it, which comes back to maybe I need to start buying coins from here and join. eBay I think is the worst offender now of the lot! 12.5% seller fees 😱
